What + Noun use
In English noun is the word that name something, a person, place or thing. Noun can be written as subject of that particular sentence. In the followings sentences 'what' is used before the all types of nouns and make the sentences interrogative.

Use of ‘How long’
How long is used to ask question about quantity or time span. It is also used to measure the length of something like dress.

| 2. How long have they been engaged? | وہ کتنے عرصے سے اس کے ساتھ جڑے ہوئے ہے |

Use of How much
In English sentence when amount or quantity of the thing is asked, then we use 'How much'. How much is also used to know the prices of something.
