Negative sentences.
Negative sentence can be constructed by the addition of "not" after the helping verb. The common helping verbs are just as "am," "is," "are," "was" and "were."

Examples:

1. I am not going to the United States.	میں یونائیڈ سٹیٹ نہیں جا رہا
2. That is not the way of market.	یہ مارکیٹ کا راستہ نہیں ہے
3. They are not from the Turkey.	وہ ترکی سے نہیں ہیں
4. We were not happy.	ہم خوش نہیں ہیں
5. He was not in the market.	وہ مارکیٹ میں نہیں ہے
6. They do not practice judo.	وہ جو ڈو کی مشق نہیں کرتے
7. She did not write.	اس نے نہیں لکھا تھا
8. The will not sing in this party.	وہ اس پارٹی میں نہیں گائیں گے
9. He will play cricket tomorrow.	وہ کل کرکٹ کھلیے گا
10. It is not raining.	بارش نہیں ہو رہی

1. We do not know this matter.	ہم اس بارے میں نہیں جا نتے
2. We don’t request.	ہم درخواست نہیں کرتے
3. She does not visit me.	وہ مجھے ملنے نہیں آیَ
4. She doesn’t know how to drive a car	وہ نہیں جانتی گاڑی کیسے چلایَ جاتی ہے
5. I did not reach the railway station on time.	میں ریلوے سٹیشن وقت پر نہ پنچ سکا تھا
6. We have not missed the bus.	ہم نے بس نہیں چھوڑی تھی
7. It is not chill today like yesterday.	آج اتنی ٹھنڈ نہیں جتنی کل تھی
8. She has not heard this news.	اس نے یہ خبر نہیں سنی تھی
9. He isn’t married.	وہ شادی شدہ نہیں
10. They are not late today.	وہ آج تا خیر سے نہیں ہیں
11. She wasn’t in the town.	وہ قصبہ میں نہ تھی
12. We didn’t attend the marriage ceremony.	ہم نے شادی کی محفل میں شمولیت نہیں کی تھی
13. She doesn’t have any brother.	اس کا کویَ بھایَ نہیں
14. I didn’t receive any letter from office.	مجھے دفتر سے کویَ خط نہیں میلا
15. They didn’t have any accommodation for tonight.	ان کے پاس آج رہنے کےلیے کویَ جگہ نہیں
16. Don’t worry, he will be fine.	فکر نہ کرو وہ ٹھیک ہو گا
17. I will not be there.	میں وہاں نہیں ہوں گا
18. I cannot drive a car.	میں گاڑی نہیں چلا سکتا
19. He must not drive the car in this way.	اس طرح سے اس کو گاڑی نہیں چلانی چائیے
20. I couldn’t attend my class last night.	میں گزشتہ رات اپنی کلاس نہیں لے سکا

1. It is very cold today, isn’t it?	آج بہت سردی ھے کیا اسا نہیں
2. They are aliens, aren’t they?	وہ اجنبی ہیں کیا ایسا نہیں
3. He was not happy, was he?	وہ خوش نہیں تھا کیا ایسا تھا
4. It will be holiday tomorrow, won’t it?	کل چھٹی کا دن ہے کیا ایسا نہیں
5. I will be ready soon, won’t I?	میں جلد تیار ہو جاءوں گا کیا ایسا نہیں ہو گا
6. We will be there, won’t we?	ہم وہاں موجود ہوں گے کیا نہیں ہو نگے
7. I can do it successfully, can I?	میں اسے کامیابی کساتھ کر لو گا کیا میں کر سکتا ہوں
8. I will be with you on Friday, will I?	میں جمعہ والے دن تمھارے ساتھ ہو گا کیا ایسا ہو گا
9. We have attended the meeting, haven’t we?	ہم نے میٹنگ میں شمولیت کی کیا ہم نے ایسا نہیں کیا
10. You have done marvelous job, haven’t you?	تم نے کیا خوب کام کیا کیا تم نے ایسا نہیں کیا
11. He couldn’t find the shoes for you, could he?	وہ تمھارے لیے جوتے تلاش نہیں کر سکا کیا وہ کر سکا
12. Sara shouldn’t cook the meal, should she?	سارا کو کھانا نہیں پکانا چاہے کیا اسے ایساکرنا چائیے
13. John must wait until afternoon, mustn’t he?	جان کو دوپہر تک انتظار کرنا ہوگا کیا ایسا نہیں کرنا ہو گا
14. She hasn’t cooked rice, has she?	اس نے چاول نہیں پکائے کیا اس نے ایسا کیا
15. You can write French, can’t you?	تم فرنچ لکھ سکتے ہو کیا تم نہیں کر سکتے
16. They do not play there, do they?	وہ وہاں نہیں کھیلتے کیا وہ ایسا کرتے ہیں
17. How pleasant weather is, isn’t it?	کتنا اچھا موسم ھے کیا ایسا نہیں
18. She will knit her sweater, won’t she?	وہ اپنی سویٹربنے گی کیا وہ ایسا نہیں کرے گی
19. He reached late there, didn’t he?	وہ تاخیر سے وہاں پہنچا کیا ایسا نہیں تھا
20. We never forget that accident, do we?	ہم کھبی اس حادثہ کو نہیں بھول سکتے کیا ایساھے

Forming contraction
In contraction form sentence ending in n't which is frequently used in spoken English as well as in written. The followings are few famous contractions.

The auxiliary verbs to be and will are usually contracted:

Negative forms for be in the present simple and past simple sentences:t
