Countable nouns are those nouns which can be counted. They are available in both singular and plural form like dog/dogs. Man/men, garden/gardens, etc. The majority of the nouns are falls in this class. The common examples of countable nouns are cities, post offices, police station, schools, colleges, universities, factories, etc.
Uncountable nouns
The minute things cannot be counted and that is why they do not have plural form and they are called uncountable nouns. Examples of uncountable nouns like rain, snow, sugar, water, wood, etc. Similarly, there are abstracts nouns and they are also uncountable like pleasure, truth, light, air, grief, love, etc.

| 9. She earns little from her office. | وہ اپنے دفتر سے بہت کم کماتی ہے |
| 10. The school has large teaching staff. | سکول کے پاس بڑا تدریسی عملہ ہے |
| 11. There are two cardamom in my tea! | میری چائے میں دو الاءچی ہیں |
| 12. We have three light in our house. | ہمارے گھر میں تین روشنیاں (بلب) ہیں |

| 14. This newspaper consist of eight pages. | اس اخبار میں آٹھ صفحات ہیں |
| 15. This lane has nine shops. | اس کوچہ میں نو دوکانیں ہیں |
| 16. Hockey team has eleven players. | ہاکی کی ٹیم میں گیارہ کھلاڑی ہوتے ہیں |
| 17. Motorbike has two wheels. | موٹر سائیکل کے دو پئیے ہوتے ہیں |
| 18. Our school has four peons. | ہمارے سکول کے پاس چار چپڑاسی ہیں |
| 19. There are three gates in this building. | اس عمارت کے تین دروازے ہیں |
| 20. You have two pencils and three copies. | تمھارے پاس دو پنسل اور تین کاپیا ں ہیں |
Uncountable nouns:
