California Institute of Technology was founded in 1891 as Throop University but in 1920, it was named as California Institute of Technology. The institute is a globally recognized university with number of achievements in science and technology. The California Institute of Technology is located in Pasadena, California USA. The university is a not for profit organization administered by 46 members of Board of Trustees.
