The Federal Skilled Worker program of Canada in enlisted in one of the three prime federal immigration programs that run or control under Express Entry system.
However, under the Express Entry, Federal Skilled Workers through 370 eligible professions who fulfill at least entry requirements, must file an expression of interest profile to the Express Entry Pool. The Comprehensive Ranking System will assess the profile of the candidates in the pool competing with each other’s. So, the applicants who secure an invitations must file or submit a complete application within 2 months.
The Federal Skilled Worker candidate qualifying is based on the appropriate education, job or work experience, and age and language capability in English or French. Therefore, competentapplicants are nominated under the Express Entry Immigration system to apply for permanent residence of Canada.

To succeed for entry to the Express Entry Pool as a Federal Skilled Worker, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
Important requirements:
- 1. Retain one-year of unceasing full-time salaried work experience or the alike in part-time nonstop work within the last 10 years in one of 370 entitled professions enlisted under therelevant National Occupational Classification system;
AND
- 2. The job experiences must be categorized within TEER classes 0 (management professions), 1 (professions that generally need a university degree), 2 (professions that need a college diploma, internship training of two or more years, or are controlling) or 3 (professions that need a college diploma, internship training of less than two years, or more than six months of on-the-job training) of the National Occupational Classification;
AND
- 3. Score appropriate points under the skilled worker point grid including of six selection factors. The present passing mark is 67 points;
- 4. Go through language testing from a renowned third party and prove intermediate-level language skills in English or French conforming to the Canadian Language Benchmark of 7)
- 5. Hold appropriate settlement money;
- 6. Go through a positive security background and medical checkup.
